Job Description:

Bitrefill is seeking 3 talented Backend Developers to join their team and help build their crypto payment solutions. As a Backend Developer at Bitrefill, you will be responsible for integrating with suppliers, enhancing the backend of their services, and ensuring the high availability, responsiveness, and scalability of their systems.

Requirements:

Requirements – Senior Backend Developer

  • Preferred timezone: Europe/Americas
  • Over 6 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficient in Node/TypeScript, MongoDB, MySQL, third-party API integrations, Amazon AWS, and
  • Kubernetes
  • Experience in team/tech lead roles
  • Capable of making technical decisions and mentoring junior developers
  • Focus on developing new features and payment solutions

Requirements – Mid-level Backend Developer

  • Preferred timezone: Europe/Americas
  • Over 3 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficient in a significant portion of Bitrefill’s tech stack
  • Focus on customer outreach and growth
  • Demonstrates ownership of code blocks and proficient in deploying & monitoring production issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and address blockers

Requirements – Junior Backend Developer

  • Preferred timezone: Americas
  • Over 3 years of experience in backend development
  • Proficient in a significant portion of Bitrefill’s tech stack
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical discussions
  • Focus on building tools for the support team to improve workflow
  • Acts as a liaison between the product team and the support team

Desirables:

  • Experience in the crypto industry
  • Understanding of blockchain technology
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
