Blockchain Data Analyst

Job Description:

Syndica is seeking a Blockchain Data Analyst to join their fully remote team. As a developer infrastructure company building the Cloud of Web3, Syndica offers highly scalable RPC node infrastructure, with advanced logging and analytics. This role will focus on producing innovative insights and analysis, leveraging tools like Flipside and Dune, and collaborating with the Research team to prepare reports for external distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze dApp developer practices and more, producing in-depth research and insights.
  • Leverage tools such as Flipside and Dune to pull relevant data.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices for on-chain research, including tools, data sources, and technologies.
  • Use data visualizations to effectively illustrate complex relationships and trends.
  • Collaborate with the Research team to prepare reports for external distribution.
  • Engage with developer communities on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and blockchain research forums.
  • Analyze whitepapers to understand a project’s on-chain data.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in blockchain data analysis with a strong emphasis on deriving first principle, out-of-the-box insights.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL (indexes, subqueries, CTEs, basic profiling).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or statistical computing language such as Python or R, and relevant data analytics packages (Pandas, matplotlib, dplyr, ggplot).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Comfort in engaging with developer communities on Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and blockchain research forums.

Desirables:

  • Strong understanding of Solana, EVM, related technical domains (Validators, RPC), and experience parsing block explorers such as Solscan and Etherscan.
  • Good foundational knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas), and REST APIs.
