The Marketing Lead at Lightning Labs will oversee all product and content marketing activities, designing go-to-market strategies and crafting compelling narratives around our products. While primarily focusing on Product Marketing, this role will initially also manage Content Marketing and related activities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a Product Marketing or writing-related role, possess a strong understanding of Bitcoin and Lightning, and have a passion for creating engaging product stories.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Marketing:
- Develop value propositions, narratives, and positioning to translate product capabilities into solutions that better serve our customers and community.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to understand the latest product roadmap, frame products, and set narratives early in the development process.
- Work with the VP of Product to create and manage achievable timelines.
- Drive blog development and all related marketing activities to completion, coordinating with the Business team to ensure user value is communicated.
- Balance the explanation of both the technical and business value of all products.
Communications:
- Create compelling, high-quality content to drive awareness and education about the Lightning Network, Lightning Labs, and its products.
- Support funnel growth activities, including blog posts, press releases, social media engagement, and community events.
- Develop collateral and messaging such as presentations, detailed FAQs, client training materials, and more.
- Build organic awareness and grow engagement across community platforms like Slack, Telegram, Twitter, etc.
- Work with the Business Development team to create educational materials that drive customer acquisition.
